How to Measure a Men's Bracelet Size
Measure the wrist, not another bracelet
Wrap a flexible tape around the bare wrist at the position where the bracelet will sit. Keep it flat against the skin without compressing the wrist, and record the meeting point to the nearest 0.5 cm.
Quick answer
- Measure the wrist that will wear the bracelet.
- Do not add extra room unless the product page asks you to.
- Match the result to the product's stated wrist range.
- If you are between listed sizes, consider the bead scale and preferred fit.
What if you do not have a measuring tape?
Use a narrow paper strip or non-stretch string. Mark the meeting point, lay it flat and measure between the end and the mark with a ruler. Do not use elastic string because it can stretch while measuring.
Why is bracelet length different from wrist size?
Large, square and irregular components occupy space on the inside of a bracelet. Two pieces with the same outside length may therefore fit different wrists. OREVYR product options refer to the stated net-wrist range where shown, not a universal finished bracelet length.
Close, standard or relaxed?
- Close: minimal movement, but no skin compression.
- Standard: secure with comfortable everyday movement.
- Relaxed: more movement; avoid so much room that the bracelet can slide over the hand.
Small checks that improve accuracy
Measure twice, measure the actual wearing wrist, and compare morning and evening readings if your wrist changes during the day. The dominant wrist can be slightly larger. For a surprise gift, an exact wrist measurement is more reliable than height, weight or clothing size.
